Curriculum for the National DPP Lifestyle Change Program

Thank you for your interest in the CDC’s PreventT2 National Diabetes Prevention Program (National DPP) curriculum. For any other questions about the curricula, or to find out if additional translations are available, or will be available in the future, please contact the National DPP Customer Service Center by going to NationalDPPCSC.cdc.gov and selecting “Contact Us/Contact Support.”

CDC has also released the Discovery Session Facilitator’s Guide. The Discovery Session is a 60-minute introductory session (also known as Session Zero) designed to help CDC-recognized organizations recruit and enroll participants into the National DPP lifestyle change program.

To help provide further guidance to those delivering the National DPP lifestyle change program, the National DPP Customer Service Center released an updated guide on using Alternate Curricula for the National DPP Lifestyle Change Program and a FAQ: Alternate Curricula/Curricula Adaptations. Newly developed curricula must be submitted, reviewed, and approved by CDC prior to use. In addition, organizations that develop supplemental materials for an already approved CDC curriculum must submit those for review and approval.
